Welcome to Castle Hill
I would like to welcome you to Castle Hill Primary School, which is set in beautiful countryside. The school is a popular choice for our local community.
At Castle Hill we provide a positive, welcoming and caring environment in which all children are encouraged to develop to their true potential.
We have high expectations of our pupils and encourage self-discipline through mutual respect for all people regardless of race, religion or gender.
We believe that success in your child’s education is enhanced and enriched through a partnership between yourself and the school. Therefore you are welcome and encouraged to become involved in all aspects of school life. I am sure that you will find the staff friendly, enthusiastic and responsive to you and your child’s needs.
Castle Hill has been awarded two achievement awards for continual improvements.
In 2010 the school received "Healthy Schools Plus Status"
In January 2011 we had an excellent Ofsted.
In 2011 we were the first school in Gloucestershire to become a "Rights Respecting School".
In 2012 we hold the Bronze Award for ECO-Schools.
I look forward to welcoming you to our school.
