Reading is the beating heart of our school. We believe that reading is the master key that will unlock all other areas of our exciting curriculum.

Pupils are exposed to a range of rich stories and texts right from Foundation Stage and are taught to read using a systematic, synthetic phonics programme. They continue to develop their fluency, comprehension and love of reading as well as building their knowledge of vocabulary, different authors and plots/themes throughout their school life.
